Actual Gender/Gender Identity: Male
Gender Assigned At Birth: Female

God Tier: Seer of Void
Explanation of Chosen God Tier: "One who benefits others with their knowledge pertaining to or one who leads and guides with knowledge pertaining to void". Wess possesses an incredible love of knowledge and intelligence, and he has enough confidence to place himself above almost everyone else. Void players also tend to have a void around them, separating them from the rest of the world (like Equius and his hemospectrum, or Roxy and her drinking). Wess does this with haughtiness, and with assumptions and judgments.
Land: Land of Paint and Willows
Description of Land: Much like the world in the movie "What Dreams May Come" that Robin Williams first encounters after dying, this world appears to be made entirely of paint. It is beautiful, but when force is applied, the painted plants and willows crumble into gooey oil paint.
Description of Consort: Blue mud snakes, two feet in length.
Enter Item: A canvas. Of course, this looks like nothing more than a squarish block when it is alchemized, and might be a bit confusing... it symbolizes entering a new world, which one creates.
Strife Specibus: Paintbrushkind. This will later turn into a longer spear-type object, which will still be able to paint.
Guardian/Living situation: Wess lives with his mother, who, while supportive of his being FTM, is also rather put out of her comfort zone by it. She is constantly unsure how exactly she needs to support him, and she doesn't really like being blunt about it, either. So instead, she often dances around the topic when she can't just act like he has always been a son to her.
She is also rather poor, and the family isn't very well off, hence Wess's lack of surgery or hormones.
Overall, though, Wess's mother is kind, supportive, and loves him to death. She is perhaps the only person Wess will openly, and frequently, show affection for.
For the purposes of CS, he lives on an island near New Zealand. Otherwise he's in a city.
Appearance: Wess is fairly tall, as well as thin and lanky. Most of his height comes form his legs, giving him a somewhat awkward appearance. He has a short crop of messy, curly brown hair, and his features, while sharp, do hold a soft element of femininity, as he has yet to have any kind of access to the hormones or surgical procedures necessary to become physically male. His face is long, without a lot of cheekbone, his eyebrows arch over the top of his eyes and then down to the side a bit, and his nose is long and thin with a slightly rounded, barely ski-jump tip.
Wess has light blue eyes, which don't look entirely strange, but which do give him a rather cold appearance. Over these rest squarish glasses. His mouth is thin, but still soft and rounded, and his nose sharp and thin as well.
Wess usually wears a charcoal pea-coat and a black scarf over a white button-up shirt. One end of his scarf, which hangs down over the left side, has his symbol embroidered onto it. His pants are simple, dark jeans, and he wears Beatles-like boots: black, with a short heel and a pointed toe. He wears his jeans over these, rather than under.
Personality: Wess usually doesn't say much, unless he is somehow confronted, or interested by another person. Which he usually isn't. Normally he finds silence better, and filling it with words unnecessary... he also sees himself as "better" than others, and doubts that most of them will actually find the value in his words, so refrains from speaking them.
Wess is a bit of an art freak, holding an intense passion for the beauty in the world. He loves painting, reading, and playing the piano (he will also often compose songs for the piano, though they usually lack words). He likes to see himself as sort of "deep", as understanding beauty better than others and therefore seeing more of it, though in truth he sees only the beauty humanity makes, and not the beauty in humanity itself. It sort of blinds him to what he should really see.
This interest in beauty is what has lead to a long-lasting interest in The Princess Bride, from which he chose his name, and might often make small references to.
Wess finds violence volatile, and likewise with anger. Happiness, sadness, and emotions like that he can find the beauty in, but violence and anger simply repulse him.
He is also very intelligent, and he knows it. If he is interested in something he can remember it well, and he has a very visual memory. He is also good at reading into things, like symbolism and hidden messages in novels or paintings. If he isn't really interested in something, though, he is terrible at remembering things about it, and he's not too great at overly-factual things like math, either.
Wess is very much focused on himself, which is why he is so good at knowing himself, his emotions, etc. He notices things in the world, and he is capable of focusing outwardly towards things, but this takes more conscious effort, and his capabilities there are more limited.
While Wess struggles to discern the emotions of others, he knows his own easily. It takes little effort to understand his own feelings, and to accept them. He seldom attempts to suppress them, but rather accepts, understands, and thus is able to control his expression of them. When he is under stress, though, Wess will start to leak hidden emotions. Usually, it will be his anger, emerging in the form of very blunt insults, when otherwise they would be much more subtle.
Wess, by nature, sees and wants to bring out the potential in things. He is an optimist in that sense, but he has trouble seeing the potential in people. He has a natural inclination to dislike them, especially if they give him a negative first impression. He sees the beauty in the world, and he admires it, and he wants to make and bring out more. He sees the same beauty and potential in only a few people, those that give him a and continue to give him a positive first impression… By the end of the game, though, Wess will see the potential in people as well, and he will strive to help his friends fulfill it, and he will perhaps understand them better.
Wess tends to care deeply for the few friends he manages to make, and with this comes a protective tendency. This can be a good thing, in that he will do a lot for a friend, but it can also lead to him taking measures more extreme than he probably should in trying to protect a friend (like invading Bern’s privacy in Seer, and distancing himself from Leta in Magic).
Likes: Intelligence, depth, painting, writing, playing the piano, romantic, dramatic, and fantasy books and media, people who are intelligent, insightful, and/or show him warmth.
Dislikes: Stupidity, ignorance, most people, brutish or sloppy things/actions, anger/violence.
Interests: Painting, playing the piano, writing, reading, and watching certain movies and television shows.
Strengths (Pros): Intelligent, creative, thoughtful, passionate, willing to do a whole lot for a really good friend, lots of self-control.
Weaknesses (Cons): Makes assumptions/jumps to conclusions, bad at reading people, haughty, loses self-control in stressful situations.
Insecurities: His general lack of friends.
Decision-Making/Leading/Operating Under Stress Abilities: Wess's control slips under pressure, and his emotions start to rule him. He is good at finding information and providing people with it, but he isn't good at leading anyone, making decisions, or generally operating under stress.
Other (optional): N/A
